American Diamond Logistics (ADL) is a fully licensed Domestic and International third-party logistics (3PL) provider specializing in FTL and LTL shipments through Dry Vans, Refrigerated Trucks, Flat Beds, and Intermodal providers along with Air Freight/Ocean coverage for international markets. ADL prides itself on getting back to the basics—treating folks the right way, customers and vendors alike, while working hard on each and every shipment we handle to assure our customers that their freight is in good hands.


We are looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator that is ready to join a fast pace team that has been experiencing rapid growth. This position will collaborate with multiple departments to facilitate the management of shipments from inception to delivery. Shift: 7am-4pm, 7:30am to 4:30pm, or 8am-5pm


Responsibilities


· Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments

· Respond to customer concerns and queries professionally

· Be a liaison between customers and carriers

· Data entry of orders and third-party information in our proprietary TMS software

· Maintain data integrity in our proprietary TMS

· Select qualified carriers to help meet customer expectations

· Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls

· Making special shipping arrangements as necessary

· Preparing transportation-related documents for customers and carriers

· Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards

· Develop, analyze and optimize logistical procedures that make the supply chain more efficient and organized

· Collect transportation related documents from carriers

· Provide solutions and utilize problem-solving skills when issues arise

· Addressing and resolving shipments issues as they arise

· Communicate issues with co-workers and managers

· Presents various forms of skills training for employees

· Provide guidance and advice that support logistics coordinator(s) growth

· Coordinate internal resources and third parties / vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects

· Create Project Scopes, objectives, and SOP’s

· Maintain high profile customer accounts and monitor shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity

· Collaborate with the sales team on identifying solutions to customer needs and requirements

· Analyze market dynamics, pricing trends, and market opportunities to accurately quote customers and win new business

Experience


· Associate or Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

· 3+ years of Transportation or Logistics industry experience preferred.

· Ability to organize and prioritize workload; ability to meet deadlines.

· Must have demonstrated critical thinking skills and be process oriented.

· Possess strong communication skills (both oral and written).

· Proficiency in Microsoft suite

· Organized: Must be highly organized, can multi-task, has good time management skills, and attention to detail.

· Interpersonal: Must possess strong interpersonal skills (both verbal and written).

· Self-motivation: Having a positive attitude, a strong sense of urgency, and the initiative to work independently.

· Conflict resolution: Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish a rapport with others. Know how

to be persuasive with the ability to stay calm.
