Senior Accounting Manager

Our client is seeking a Sr. Accounting Manager for an excellent hybrid position (2 days in office) based in the Atlanta, GA area. This role is responsible for managing all divisional accounting operations to include:

• Overseeing A/P, A/R, and collections process, as well as month-end close, reporting, reconciliations, accruals, and administering payroll.
• Business Leadership engagement and advisement
• Ensuring all internal accounting policies and procedures are accurate and up-to-date.
• Manage internal ERP systems.
• Point-of-contact for auditors.
• Project collaboration and ownership, to include process improvement and automation.
• Opportunity to build, develop, and manage a team.
• Comfortable with up to 25% U.S. travel within the first 3-6 months due to business/team growth and strategy, potentially much less after.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required, MBA preferred.
• CPA, CA, or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2+ years managing an accounting function.
• Experience with SAP, ADP, and system upgrades/implementations.
• Prior experience in an M&A environment preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to partner with internal teams and executive stakeholders.
