Senior Accountant

Job Description

ALL DSG has partnered with an industry leader in Kansas City who is hiring a Senior Accountant to join their growing business. The ideal candidate would be an Accountant with 4+ years of experience, with at least 2+ years of that working in public accounting. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Perform daily accounting tasks such as reconciling various transactions and accounts, and preparing financial reports
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision making purposes
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices
• Document processes and procedures, and implement and test internal controls
• Participate in audits and ensure compliance with internal controls
• Provide support to other accounting team members, as needed
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of experience in public accounting
• CPA certification preferred
• Leadership capabilities
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel
• Experience with analyzing large volumes of data
• Experience with accounting, ERP, data warehousing, banking and other various software
• Knowledge of cost management accounting a plus
• Bilingual in English and Spanish helpful
