Sales Representative
Description
To offer current and potential Customers the most comprehensive Bin Management Program. Educate Customers in fluid power, offer our technical expertise and promote the most current products and services to meet their requirements.
Scope: This position is a necessity to promote and grow Depatie’s business in the MRO and small to medium OEM accounts in the trading areas. This individual will have to be self driven, and willing to work closely with Customers and other outside team members. Understanding of Depatie’s core products is a must, and promotion/growth of these core products is essential to the success of this position and program.
Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with current and targeted bin management accounts.
Assist in the set-up process with a new bin management account.
Initial inventory analysis, standardizing and consolidation of parts and min/max levels
Getting a list of part numbers to generate bar code bin labels
Generate an ordering process of the Customer (i.e., workorder sheet or Clear Spider)
Make sure customer part numbers are properly identified and loaded into ICCM
Re-organize customers inventory to better suite their needs, Label bins as required
Place wall charts, dry erase board, work order sheets and catalogs as required"
Implement current bin management at accounts
Delivery and stocking of replacement parts orders on scheduled days
Check with Customer Personnel for any new requirements
Make sure our area is clean and organized.
Make sure catalogs are up to date; inform DFP Account Manager if any catalogs need to be replaced or added
Solicit new business/ Referrals for existing customers
Follow up of sales leads coming from Sales Manager (i.e., Manufacturers leads, ParkerStore leads, New Account set-up)
Work with Targeted ParkerStore accounts within the geographic boundaries
Making a pre-determined amount of Cold Calls
Making calls on House Accounts as an opportunity arises"
Expand miscellaneous product within our Bin Management accounts; filters, elements, Sat-T-Lok sealants, Midland Metal, steel tubing, heat exchangers, lubrication components, pressure gauges, value add solutions but do not jeopardize our core product offering
Emergency calls or deliveries as approved by Sales Manager or ParkerStore Managers
Solicit business for the ParkerStores; hand out flyers and promotional literature to current and potential Store Customers
Qualifications
More responsibilities as employee gains experience.
3 or More Years Technical Knowledge/Experience preferably with Hydraulics/Pneumatics.
Proficiency with Computer Based Business Systems
Technical Certification or College Degree in Related Field
