Position Overview

  • The Sales Analyst will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate client and internal reporting related to individual rep activity and performance metrics for our demand generation programs. The position requires ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with a fast-paced, growing environment. He/She will be accountable for day-to-day sales performance reporting deliverables.
  • This is a highly critical role for the business with primary responsibility supporting Senior Management and other client-facing personnel. Reports you will create will be consumed internally and externally by clients and will contribute to the satisfaction, retention, and growth of new and existing business through insightful, accurate and comprehensive reporting.

Reporting

  • Source, extract, assemble, collate, and consolidate data needed for internal company reports, such as but not limited to daily, weekly performance tracking.
  • Prepare tables, graphs, and charts for inclusion in reports and presentations for internal consumption.
  • Prepare draft reports for internal review on or ahead of set scheduled meetings teams and/or management.
  • Revise, finalize and distribute reports based on reviews and feedback from Team Leads, Sales Managers, and Senior Management.
  • Track and manage report versions.

Business Reviews

  • Source, extract, assemble, collate, and consolidate data needed for client business reviews (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
  • Prepare tables, graphs, and charts for inclusion in PowerPoint presentations
  • Prepare draft for internal review on or ahead of set scheduled meetings with clients.
  • Revise and/or finalize business review presentations based on reviews and feedback from Team Leads, Sales Managers, and Senior Management.

Sales Commission and Bonus

  • Maintain sales representative and leader rosters by client program
  • Calculate month sales representative and team leader commissions based on variable incentive plan design and monthly performance results
  • Partner with operational leaders to process commission and quota adjustments accordingly

Production Schedule(s)

  • Create, update, and maintain a production schedule for reporting for external and internal needs.
  • Ensure reports and presentations are completed on or ahead of production schedules.
  • Meet or exceed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for reporting to clients.

Documentation

  • Create, update, and maintain documentation and procedures for sourcing, analyzing, and preparing client-facing and internal reporting and presentation preparation.

Quality, Integrity, Confidentiality, and Privacy

  • Ensure the highest quality and integrity of data sources and uses.
  • Develop and employ “best practices” for data sourcing, manipulation, and use.
  • Adhere to all confidential and/or nondisclosure access and uses of data to which the analyst may become privy to.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience OR Associate’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Self-starter with ability to plan, organize, implement, and follow-through
  • Extremely well-organized, multi-task oriented and excellent attention to detail
  • Solutions-oriented; always has solutions in mind when managing up

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency and experience in developing reports using MS Excel and Power BI.
  • Knowledge of Sales metrics and processes (outbound prospecting activities, sales opportunity pipeline generation)
  • Experience calculating sales commissions / bonus
  • Experience with CRM and sales applications (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, SalesLoft, and Outreach) especially using native reporting and data extraction tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to accurately extract, consolidate and transform data into organized insightful information
  • Ability to create sales performance analysis using visualization including pivot charts and graphs to facilitate clear understanding by management.
