Rising to the Challenge: Position Responsibilities

Flowers Bakeries has an immediate opening for a skilled and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Regional Sales Director for our Away from Home (AFH) division.


As a Regional Sales Director - AFH, you will lead a team of sales representatives in a specific geographic area, manage customer relationships, and drive sales growth.

This position will require flexibility and willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.


A Regional Sales Director - Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets by analyzing market trends and identifying sales opportunities. Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve sales goals. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and conduct regular customer visits to drive sales growth. Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and collaborate with internal teams to achieve sales objectives. Manage the sales budget, ensure compliance with company policies, and prepare regular sales reports for senior management.


Knead to Know: Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of sales experience with a proven track record in a similar role (preferable in foodservice)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.


Additional Ingredients: Essential Job Requirements

  • Willingness to travel within the assigned area as needed. (Minimum of 40% to 60%)
  • Proven track record of success in foodservice sales or related industries, with experience in sales management or leadership roles preferred
  • Strategic thinker who can analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop actionable plans to drive business growth
