This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with project stakeholders to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables.
Manage the day-to-day activities of the construction site, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Review and approve construction plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and change orders.
Participate in regular meetings with project team members to provide updates on project status, milestones, and issues resolution.
Assist in the evaluation and selection of contractors and suppliers, ensuring alignment with project objectives and budgetary constraints.
Support commissioning and startup activities, including equipment testing, validation, and qualification.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
3-4 years of experience in construction or CAPEX projects, preferably within the pharmaceutical, oil and gas, or chemical industries.
Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from conception to completion.
Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards applicable to pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities (e.g., FDA, cGMP).
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Willingness to be site-based in Lebanon, Indiana, for the duration of the project.
