Project Engineer

Brief Description

Kitchell is currently hiring for a Project Engineer with healthcare project experience to join our team in Tucson, Arizona and contribute to the growth and success of our Tucson market. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing various aspects of construction projects. Our ideal candidate will have 3-5 of Project Engineer experience.

Requirements

Procurement and Documentation:

• Review and process submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs) to ensure compliance with contract documents
• Participate in the bid process
• Chair meetings, coordinate agendas, prepare minutes, and follow up on action items
• Prepare change order requests and review pricing
  
  

Maintain document files and logs

• Provide updates on shop drawings, submittals, and material procurements
• Maintain project schedule information using project software
  
  

Project Coordination

• Implement and maintain the expediting report to monitor material and equipment needs
• Handle problems and information requests systematically during construction
• Maintain a complete and current set of drawings reflecting changes from base contract documents
• Prepare monthly progress payment requests
• Implement job start-up and close-out procedures as directed
  
  

Safety and Compliance
