Kitchell is currently hiring for a Project Engineer with healthcare project experience to join our team in Tucson, Arizona and contribute to the growth and success of our Tucson market. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing various aspects of construction projects. Our ideal candidate will have 3-5 of Project Engineer experience.
Requirements
Procurement and Documentation:
Review and process submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs) to ensure compliance with contract documents
Participate in the bid process
Chair meetings, coordinate agendas, prepare minutes, and follow up on action items
Prepare change order requests and review pricing
Maintain document files and logs
Provide updates on shop drawings, submittals, and material procurements
Maintain project schedule information using project software
Project Coordination
Implement and maintain the expediting report to monitor material and equipment needs
Handle problems and information requests systematically during construction
Maintain a complete and current set of drawings reflecting changes from base contract documents
Prepare monthly progress payment requests
Implement job start-up and close-out procedures as directed
Safety and Compliance
