Who We're Looking For
Are you reliable, organized, and a great communicator? We want you! While experience in bookkeeping is preferred, we're more interested in your dedication and willingness to learn. Bonus points if you have a background in music or education, but it's not a requirement.
Key Qualifications
Strong grasp of bookkeeping principles or eagerness to acquire this skill
Exceptional communication skills, especially during Monday to Friday business hours
A knack for providing outstanding customer service, including handling challenging situations with grace
Superior organizational abilities to keep our financial processes running smoothly
Familiarity with QuickBooks, Google Sheets/Excel, and Numbers is advantageous
Responsibilities
Prepare and distribute invoices to teachers promptly each month
Manage monthly payroll efficiently
Handle student enrollments, withdrawals, and leaves of absence accurately
Generate monthly financial reports to keep our team informed
Respond promptly to inquiries from the Managing Director and clients
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in invoices with transparency and professionalism
Ensure adherence to AWSOM's invoicing and payment procedures
