Operations and Logistics Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a company south of Portland, OR on an Operations and Logistics Manager job. You thrive in a Supply Chain generalist role, overseeing all aspects of supply chain and interfacing closely with operations. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with COO and other leadership to build company strategy based on demand and capacity
• Oversee all aspects of supply chain including procurement, supplier management, forecasting, material planning, inventory and warehouse management, and logistics
• Assess current supplier base; vet appropriate additional suppliers to meet business needs and forecast
• Monitors quality of materials, on time delivery and other supplier performance metrics
• Manage logistics contracts for inbound and outbound shipments
• Lead a growing team of supply chain professionals

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain and Logistics, Business or similar required; relevant, comparable work experience may be substituted
• 7-10 years of progressive, relevant experience in manufacturing
• Additional education and / or experience with change management, continuous improvement or similar methodologies

Skills:

• Passion for, and strong track record in, the development and empowerment of teams
• Ability to navigate and pivot in an evolving environment
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

About the role:

• Full Time, Direct Hire
• Mon – Fri; 8a – 5p
• 100% on site role with some scheduling flexibility
• Comp / Benefits – 100-130K DOE; employer/employee supported medical, dental and vision plans, paid time off, and 401k with company match
