Our client is a facial plastic surgery medical office with two doctors, located in the heart of Tampa, FL with a fun and happy office culture. They are looking to add a Medical Receptionist to their front desk team.
The ideal candidate will be extremely reliable, kind, detail oriented, and born to multitask.
Responsibilities
Primary phone answerer. Pleasant greeting, schedule appointment, address all questions of callers.

Inventory Control for Office Supplies
Reminder Calls
Check out patients once services are provided. Includes collecting payment
Data Entry of Daily Invoices
Posting of Daily Payments
Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient’s arrival, reviewing service delivery compared to schedule, and reminding providers of service delays.
Comforts patients by anticipating patients’ anxieties, answering patients’ questions, and maintaining the reception area.
Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
Protects patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.
Maintains operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications/Skills
Solid Knowledge and Execution of Microsoft Office
Exemplary planning and time management skills
Up-to-date with advancements in office gadgets and applications
High level verbal and written communications skills. A lot of communication is done via email.
