Medicaid/CHIP Payment Error Cycle Manager - Remote | WFH

We are currently seeking several dedicated Cycle Managers to join our dynamic Public Sector Solutions team. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting CMS' implementation of the Payment Error Rate Measurement (PERM) Program. This program aims to produce national estimates of improper payments within the Medicaid and Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) in accordance with the Payment Integrity Information Act of 2019 (PIIA). Your responsibilities will include coordinating the PERM review process, managing cycle activities, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate cycle activities in collaboration with Assistant Program Directors, PERM Staff, and CMS COR.

Oversee the timeliness of pre-cycle, cycle, and post-cycle operations.

Manage key operating risks and ensure compliance with state and federal laws, policies, and regulations.

Facilitate effective communication and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.

Execute cross-cutting projects, emphasizing coordination, risk management, prioritization, and change management.

Provide leadership and support to our team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

At least three years of project management experience, particularly in complex and technically challenging projects.

A minimum of two years of experience in federal verification, auditing, or improper payment programs.

Strong knowledge of state and federal laws, policies, rules, and regulations.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with exceptional interpersonal abilities.

Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively.

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent relevant work experience.

Additional Information

This position offers the flexibility of hybrid or full-time remote work.

Employment is contingent upon contract award.
