Main responsibilities:


As the Marketing Coordinator for Diadora USA division, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and ultimately, sales. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and design, to create compelling campaigns that resonate with our target audience. You will also be responsible for fluidity between the USA and Italian marketing objectives.


The Marketing Coordinator will be in charge of the following activities:


  • Develop and Execute Marketing Strategies: Devise and implement comprehensive marketing plans to promote Diadora products, considering market trends, competitor analysis, and customer preferences.
  • Brand Management: Cultivate and enhance the brand image ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and materials.
  • Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including social media campaigns, email marketing, and online advertising to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Content Creation: Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging and relevant content, including product descriptions, blog posts, and multimedia materials. Also manage internal content for retail partners through digital means.
  • Event Planning: Plan and coordinate events, sponsorships, and partnerships to increase brand visibility within our respective communities.
  • Market Research: Strong knowledge or Running, Soccer, Tennis and Premium Goods consumer markets. Stay abreast of industry trends, customer feedback, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve desired results. Manage vendors, submit invoices, track budget, and follow up on payments.
  • Athletes and Teams: Secure and manage contracts with Athletes and Teams. Responsible for relationships, invoices, expectations, gear, social engagement, and overall making sure they are fully supported.
  • External Resources: Manage relationships with outside agency support such as PR or Design.


Key requirements:


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of the sporting goods industry, with a focus on running shoes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms.
