Job Summary

Join our team in providing the best photoshoot prep experience for every student! We are looking for a highly motivated Makeup Artist with excellent client service skills and exceptional attention to detail. Our positive work environment and fun culture are integral components to our studio's livelihood and reputation. Top 5 Responsibilities (Top 5 should should cover 80% of the important job functions)


1. Able and willing to execute makeup and hair styles for all demographics of students

2. Ensure makeup and/or hair is picture perfect before and during the student’s session

3. Work efficiently in time sensitive situations

4. Alter or adjust makeup during session and to client requests

5. Help maintain hygienic practices with makeup tools, makeup, and dressing areas


Additional Responsibilities

6. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, establishing trust and rapport through genuine interactions

7. Collaborate with team members to uphold a supportive and cooperative work environment, contributing to a positive work team culture


Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age

High School diploma or equivalent

Must pass a satisfactory background check

Professional experience preferred, but not required


Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors

Able to be stationary for extended periods

Able to walk/move inside or outside for more than 6 consecutive hours

Able to verbally communicate with customers and team members

Significant noise and other potential sensory stimulants (i.e., busy retail environment with camera flashes, music, and sometimes crowded area)

Able to move up to 20 lbs
