Responsibilities

As the Manager, Field Broadcast Operations (Live Sports), you will be responsible for

• Overseeing all aspects of our live sports broadcast operations, including the coordination of field operations, management of broadcast technologies, and inventory control of broadcast equipment.
• Leading a team of field operators and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest levels of performance and professionalism.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to plan and execute customer events, ensuring an exceptional viewer experience.
• Managing the lifecycle of broadcast projects, from initial planning and scheduling to execution and post-event analysis.
• Troubleshooting technical issues in real-time, implementing solutions to minimize disruption to live broadcasts.
• Staying abreast of the latest advancements in broadcast technology, making recommendations for equipment upgrades and process improvements.
• Ensuring compliance with all industry regulations and standards, maintaining the integrity and quality of our broadcasts.
  
  

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in broadcast operations, with a specific focus on live sports broadcasting.
• Proven experience in field operations and managing customer events.
• Proficiency in the latest broadcast technologies and equipment, with a proven track record of effective inventory control.
• Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a knack for troubleshooting technical issues under pressure.
• A passion for sports and broadcasting, with a commitment to delivering high-quality content to our viewers.
• A degree in broadcasting, communications, or a related field is preferred.
