We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team, an esteemed professional lacrosse league in North America, as a Manager of Broadcast and Media Partnerships. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing our league's national and local media partnerships and distribution relationships. Reporting directly to the EVP of Broadcast and Media, you will collaborate closely with department heads at our league office and key executives within our member teams.
Key Areas Of Responsibility
Oversight of media rights distribution and management of media partners
Utilization of business intelligence for media analytics, KPI reporting, and industry trend tracking
Strategic coordination with national rights holders for scheduling
Management of special projects and sponsorship fulfillment in collaboration with our commercial team and media partners
Responsibilities
Collaborate with national and local rights holders to create audience profiles for various platforms
Develop and execute broadcast game scheduling and related marketing plans
Facilitate media activities between the league, teams, and rights partners
Ensure compliance with local broadcast agreements and advise clubs accordingly
Provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders
Generate data-driven partnership recaps throughout the season
Manage special events such as the NLL unBOXed Series, NLL Draft, and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in data-driven viewership analysis, strategic scheduling, and business intelligence
Previous experience in professional sports leagues, national sports networks, or sports and entertainment agencies
Strong focus on building customer relationships with broadcasters, streaming platforms, and content creators
Excellent project management skills, particularly in organizing league events
Proficiency in analytical and quantitative skills
