Manager of Quality & Compliance
New Mexico Donor Services (NMDS) is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic team member to join us to save lives!! Our mission at NMDS is to save lives through organ and tissue donation, and we want professionals on our team that will embrace this important work!! We are seeking a Manager of Quality and Compliance. This position will be responsible for the execution of the Quality Management systems and ensuring both quality and performance improvement initiatives are running throughout the organization.

For over four decades, DCI Donor Services has been a leader in working to end the transplant waiting list. Our unique approach to service allows for nationwide donation, transplantation, and distribution of organs and tissues while maintaining close ties to our local communities.
DCI Donor Services operates three organ procurement/tissue recovery organizations: New Mexico Donor Services, Sierra Donor Services, and Tennessee Donor Services. We also maximize the gift of life through the DCI Donor Services Tissue Bank and Sierra Donor Services Eye Bank.

Below are some of the key accountabilities this position will hold:
- Assists in managing and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards and industry driven accreditations. Maintains current licensing, registration, and accreditation with agencies.
- Oversees quality deliverables and practices such as policy deviations and nonconformance's, audits, training, document control, adverse reactions, PDSA, and CA/PA.
- Provides daily management, training, and scheduling of quality personnel.
- Promotes the expectation of accurate medical records and data elements with applicable regulations and standards.
- Oversees the organ chart review and audit process. Ensures correction assignments are made by the appropriate staff to ensure a comprehensive and complete donor record. Oversees organ chart disposition and ensure monthly chart metrics and goals by staff.
- Manages the audit system.
- Collaborates in the development and analysis of statistical measurements of activity, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Oversees the review and investigation of deviations and occurrence reports. Completes the root cause analysis and finalizes reporting as appropriate.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have The Following Attributes
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in an OPO quality systems experience with medical records
- 3+ years of experience with a quality management system
- CQIA, CPTC, CTBS, CEBT preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license with the ability to pass MVR underwriting requirements
