Manager of Administrative Services
As of May 9th, multi-office law firm is seeking a Manager of Administrative Services to work closely with the Chief Administrative Officer and oversee administrative and facilities functions for the New York office. This position will involve:
- Managing, hiring, and training professionals across Facilities, Word Processing, Reception, and Legal Secretarial Services.
- Conducting performance reviews and ensuring coverage during absences.
- Approving timecards and vacation requests, soliciting feedback from attorneys and other departmental leaders.
- Supporting onboarding and integration efforts for new hires.
- Coordinating services with vendors, reviewing purchase orders, and ensuring the overall safety and compliance of the office.
Requirements:
- Five years of management experience within a law firm as well as exceptional communication, project management, and leadership skills.
- Proactive work ethic, the ability to think strategically, and a clear understanding of leave administration and state and federal employment laws.
- Ability to foster positive relationships across departments while exercising highly effective time management and organizational skills.
