Position Overview

As a Logistics Analyst in our Parts, Garments & Accessories (PG&A) division, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods across North America. You will be the key point of contact for various transportation partners, including warehousing, international trade, and distribution centers. Your expertise in logistics, data analysis, and problem-solving will help optimize freight movement and expenses while maintaining high levels of customer service. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute logistics financials, planning, analysis, and execution, including managing inbound, outbound, and transfer freight expenses.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and main point of contact for 3rd party freight auditors, executing weekly freight payment research, audits, and issue resolutions.
  • Manage general ledger coding for shipments in the Customer Approval Process and handle ad hoc inquiries.
  • Maintain and support partnerships with both international and domestic transportation providers across all modes of transport.
  • Conduct high-level analysis for carrier performance management, including on-time delivery, delivery condition, claim filing, and performance reviews.
  • Provide accurate information and support to dealers, e-commerce, and purchasing networks regarding shipment statuses and other transportation inquiries.
  • Proactively identify, communicate, and recommend solutions for freight issues.
  • Implement process improvements to reduce logistics waste and costs while enhancing safety, quality, and profitability.
  • Manage the PG&A inboxes by dispatching, logging/reporting, troubleshooting root causes, and identifying common issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all logistics regulations and standards related to PG&A operations, Polaris Trade Compliance, and local customs and tax regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Logistics, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of logistics, supply chain, or international experience with a deep understanding of transportation and carrier operations.
  • Proven track record in decision-making, cost reduction, and process improvement.
  • Strong analytical skills and curiosity to explore new transportation concepts.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Proficiency in Excel, along with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in Power BI, and Alteryx is preferred.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a focus on multitasking.
  • Strong sense of urgency and accountability with a commitment to customer satisfaction.
