Lean Operations Manager

InfraHire is looking for an Lean Operations Manager in Los Angeles, CA

Responsibilities

Ensure manufacturing operations are optimized through LEAN methodologies and are developed and error proofed to drive toward world class results. This will be achieved by running one Kaizen a quarter and two to three Small Group Activities a month which lead to $300,000 to $500,000 in annual operational savings as established in baseline improvements. The candidate is expected to operate as a hands on leader to achieve these goals. Additionally, this role will train team members on LEAN methodologies and develop a team of Green Belts.

Competencies

Qualified candidates should be able to excel in the following areas:

• Lean concepts & 5S methodologies optimization
• Understanding of J-STD -001 and IPC 610 specifications
• Capable and engaging Trainor
• Strong adherence to systems, policies and procedures
• Gemba Strategies
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
  
  

Experience & Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or Operations
• Six Sigma Black Belt
• Ten plus years in high reliability electronics
• Five years of Lean Six Sigma practical applications
• Value Stream Mapping experience
• Must have background and experience in SMT, through-hole and electro-mechanical manufacturing processes.
• Experience with ISO/NADCAP/IPC audits
  
  

Salary range: $120k-$150k
