Instructional Designer
About The Role:
We are looking for a skilled Instructional Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will create engaging learning experiences and training materials catering to learners at various levels. You will report directly to the Manager, Instructional Design.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop instructional materials for training courses that meet the educational standards of the organization.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify the target audience’s training needs.
- Apply tested instructional design theories, practices, and methods.
- Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process.
- Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games, etc.)
- Decide on the criteria used to judge learner’s performance and develop assessment instruments.
- Maintain project documentation and course folders.
Requirements:
- + 5 years in instructional design.
- Proven working experience in instructional design and instructional technology.
- Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.
- Lesson and curriculum planning skills.
- Basic HTML and Flash programming knowledge.
- Visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to storyboard.
- Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts.
- Advanced experience with full Articulate 360 platform.
- BS or MA degree in instructional design, educational technology, or similar.
