Our client is an asset management firm. They seek a Human Resources Assistant to join their Manhattan, NY office.


Responsibilities

  • Support the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including preparing paperwork and conducting orientations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files and HR databases
  • Complete benefits administration tasks, such as enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs
  • Support performance management by tracking performance evaluations and providing assistance to managers
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations by implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including filing and organizing documents


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
  • 1+ years of HR administrative experience
  • Organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
  • Able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software
