As a Help Desk Technician, you will be responsible for resolving technical issues and providing excellent customer service. You will assist clients remotely, offering guidance and troubleshooting assistance in a professional and prompt manner. Additionally, you will play a vital role in maintaining and monitoring our internal IT systems to ensure they are running smoothly.

The ideal candidate for this position is a detail-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills. You should have excellent communication skills, as you will be interacting with clients on a regular basis. You should also have a solid understanding of computer systems and be able to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to client inquiries and technical issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Identify and diagnose hardware and software problems
  • Provide remote support to clients, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate IT department if necessary
  • Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance and security
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with remote support software and ticketing systems
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
