A large investment manager located in midtown Manhattan is looking to hire a Financial Reporting Associate to join their team. The role will sit with the financial reporting group and handle the firm's investor and legal entity financial reporting for its hedge fund and private fund vehicles. Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze month, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Conduct account and performance analyses
Work on special projects including the launch of new funds
Interact with multiple departments to gain a macro view of the firm's financials
Qualifications
Bachelor's in accounting or finance
2-4 years of experience in public accounting or in a reporting function at an investment manager, hedge fund, or other financial services
Related reporting experience
Strong Excel skills
CPA is beneficial but not required
