Operations is one of the largest divisions in the Firm and has diverse responsibilities, including correctly settling and recording millions of transactions per day, identifying, and mitigating all operational risks, developing strong client relationships, and partnering with technology to realize the full potential of IT. The Operations department continually seeks ways to improve while actively supporting the development of new businesses, structures, and markets.


Primary Responsibilities:

- The Analyst supporting Client Relations/Senior Investor inquiries and concerns will ensure Firm compliance with regulations governing the handling of non-sales practice client complaints

- Responsible for collaboration with Morgan Stanley branches and operational business partners in the investigation, research, and resolution of a large volume of assigned cases in a formal written format to communicate the Firm's decision to the client

- This position may also be tasked to handle other various operational responsibilities within Client Relations, including settlement processing, Privacy Opt Out processing, and incoming telephone calls

- Other projects may be assigned on an as-needed basis


Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree

- At least 2-4 years of finance industry experience

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables

- Proficiency in Data analysis or visualization tools are a plus (SQL, Tableau, etc)

- Efficient time management skills and ability to prioritize competing urgent tasks

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills

- Ability to think and act like an owner

- Ability to take direction and work independently, as well as in a team environment

- High level of attention to detail and understanding the importance of accuracy in quality
