About The College/Department

Job Summary/Basic Functions

Provides high level administrative support to the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs through coordination, communication, critical thinking teamwork, Budget Management and office oversight to promote the mission and goals of the University. Will also conduct research, prepare complex documents, screen calls, organize files, coordinate travel, facilitate building repair request, customer service to visitors and callers to the office. The incumbent reports to the Vice President for Student Affairs.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree is required.

Experience: Five years of progressively responsible clerical, secretarial and/or administrative support is required.

  • 45% - Provides the highest level of efficient and effective support to the Vice President for Student Affairs. - (Essential)
  • 45% - Provides office management to the Office of the Vice President Student Affairs and building management for the Powell Building. - (Essential)
  • 10% - Supports the efficient and effective operations of the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs and the University by completing all other duties as assigned. - (Essential)
