Top Tier Hedge Fund is looking for Equity Quant Researchers to join their growing firm. This is an excellent opportunity to be responsible for high-capacity strategies with medium-to-high Sharpe. The team has been running for several years and look after a large and successful set of signals across regions and trading frequencies. They are now diversifying their signal set to capture new sources of alpha. Your role would be to drive and deliver on your own research agenda. It will be fully focused on new alpha research.
QUALIFICATIONS
Researched and traded live at least two innovative and creative alpha signals with holding period days to weeks
Independent, self-organized, can effectively manage time in a high-velocity environment
A go-getter with outstanding analytical skills and a hands-on attitude
Strong academic record and a degree with high mathematical, statistical, and computing content e.g., Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or Physics from a leading university
A deep understanding of statistics and an ability to apply to real world problems
Strong coding skills and experience of handling large data sets. Firm uses Python and its scientific stack for both research and live trading
Sharpe Ratio (ideally above a 1.5)
