The Engineering planner will be in charge of taking the projects approved by the Program Engineer and determining what is needed to be able to manufacture the part. Starting from material designation and going all the way to manufacturing techniques to be able to conform with the client's specifications.
Qualifications
Must be detail-oriented, extremely organized, must possess excellent communication skills, and be able to interact well with all levels of Management
Must possess excellent computer skills, including working knowledge of Word, spreadsheets, customer drawings and databases, Catia, 2-D and 3-D Modeling
Must have direct communication with internal customers
Responsibilities
Complete Shop Planning in the required time allotment
Maintain a filing system to track current engineering sketches, charts, graphs, etc. that are used to support engineering departments
