What You Will Be Doing

  • Establish and maintain a national sales team.
  • Identify, strategize, and target new accounts and opportunities.
  • Prepare and manage strategic sales plans.
  • Build and develop an online sales channel.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the sales process from prospecting through sales presentation.
  • Manage annual Sales budget, including quotas and compensation plans.
  • Train, measure, and coach sales team in executing sales process.
  • Provide accurate forecasts and reports to measure performance.
  • Set pricing strategy and production capacity in collaboration with Chief Operating Officer and CEO.
  • Manage the daily needs of accounts by working with Sales Support and Strategic Account Management.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the furniture and graphic industry and the company's competition.

Experience You Will Need

  • Undergraduate degree in Business or related technical field.
  • Ten years of experience in a sales leadership role.
  • Industry experience in manufacturing wood, solid surfaces, plastic, acrylic, and graphics.
  • Track record of growth and success.
  • Experience in sales in the commercial furniture industry and/or specialty graphics industries.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce or similar CRM.
  • Willingness to relocate to the Metro Detroit area (preferred).
  • MBA (preferred).
  • Experience selling into the retail automotive space (preferred).
  • Strategic planning, business case development skills (preferred).
