What You Will Be Doing
- Establish and maintain a national sales team.
- Identify, strategize, and target new accounts and opportunities.
- Prepare and manage strategic sales plans.
- Build and develop an online sales channel.
- Coordinate all aspects of the sales process from prospecting through sales presentation.
- Manage annual Sales budget, including quotas and compensation plans.
- Train, measure, and coach sales team in executing sales process.
- Provide accurate forecasts and reports to measure performance.
- Set pricing strategy and production capacity in collaboration with Chief Operating Officer and CEO.
- Manage the daily needs of accounts by working with Sales Support and Strategic Account Management.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the furniture and graphic industry and the company's competition.
- Undergraduate degree in Business or related technical field.
- Ten years of experience in a sales leadership role.
- Industry experience in manufacturing wood, solid surfaces, plastic, acrylic, and graphics.
- Track record of growth and success.
- Experience in sales in the commercial furniture industry and/or specialty graphics industries.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce or similar CRM.
- Willingness to relocate to the Metro Detroit area (preferred).
- MBA (preferred).
- Experience selling into the retail automotive space (preferred).
- Strategic planning, business case development skills (preferred).
