The Media Analytics group is responsible for providing analysis and reporting of cross platform NFL consumption. This role will lead NFL game viewership reporting and analysis across traditional TV and digital channels and will work on international viewership support. The position interfaces with departments across the league including Media BD, Broadcasting, Marketing, and PR, and with partners.
Responsibilities
Responsible for analyzing, reporting, and forecasting NFL game and tentpole event performance
Provide analysis and context about viewership trends to assist with business development, scheduling, and other strategic planning
Answer time sensitive ad hoc requests
Work with PR on audience highlights and context for press releases/press inquiries
Provide viewership forecasts and contribute to viewership prediction model to guide scheduling decisions
Assist with international viewership reporting and analysis
Oversee viewership measurement initiatives
Effectively communicate findings and analysis to internal and external stakeholders
Work collaboratively across internal teams
Manage junior team members and guide their career development
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
10+ years of work experience and 5+ at a broadcast or cable network, sports league, media agency, advertiser, local TV station/rep firm, audience measurement company, or technology company preferably with sports rights
3+ years of leadership/management experience
Proficient in Nielsen TV ratings systems (NPOWER, NNTV, Arianna, NLTV) and Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with digital streaming and Adobe measurement is a plus
Quantitative research experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to deliver succinct findings to internal and external stakeholders
Ability to work within tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment
Capacity to manage multiple projects and simultaneous deadlines
Have an attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in reporting
Collaborate and communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications
Interest in sports and the NFL is a plus
Successful track record of multi-tasking, prioritizing, and working well under pressure
Demonstrated track record of providing strategic thinking to internal stakeholders, including problem solving and responding to opportunities and challenges with the ability to translate into practical plans of action
A team player and collaborative attitude
