Director Information Technology Operations

The IT Operations Director is crucial in managing our day-to-day IT operations and ensuring smooth service delivery across the organization. This role involves close collaboration with team members, consultants, and contractors from various fields to deliver superior IT business solutions that exceed customer expectations.

You will have a solid technical foundation and excellent problem-solving abilities, adept at evaluating situations, prioritizing issues, and resolving problems efficiently. Utilizing their experience and innovative approaches, you will be key in advancing our IT infrastructure and enhancing service delivery.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee maintenance of local networks and enhance the technological landscape.
• Implement critical IT processes in manufacturing and address IT discrepancies.
• Manage relationships with internal customers, keeping stakeholders informed about initiatives and their impact.
• Lead problem resolution, maintaining ownership of issues until fully resolved and escalating when necessary.
• Install and update hardware and software, collaborating with the IT team for configurations.
• Monitor and analyze system performance, offering recommendations for operational improvements.
• Enhance operational objectives by analyzing business functions and evaluating output needs.
• Ensure high service delivery, system availability, security, and recoverability standards.
• Generate reports and maintain records of service level agreements with internal customers.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT operations within complex, dynamic, cross-functional corporate settings.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Operations Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Preferable certifications in Microsoft Azure, O365, and network-related credentials.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with both technical and business teams.
• Proven track record in supporting IT systems in regulated environments.
• Proficiency in managing network infrastructure, server and client hardware, software, and cabling systems.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
• Experienced with Microsoft Office 365, Virtual Desktops, and Audio Visual systems.
• Ability to manager multiple Vendors.
• Knowledge of industrial control systems and GMP (GAMP5) documentation and practices.
