We are seeking a Director, FP&A, and Strategic Finance to lead financial analysis and reporting, strategic decision modeling, forecasting, monthly and ongoing business results reviews, processes and system solutions, and corporate compliance. This newly created position is important for Curtis’ ongoing profitable growth. Particular focus will be required for business partnering cross-functionally with the leadership team and strategic investment opportunities as we continue to accelerate our growth. This role will take point in developing and building out the team to drive data-driven decision-making further. This position must maintain the highest level of integrity and candor at all levels of the business to gain buy-in from our sites worldwide.

This is a hybrid position, requiring flexibility to go into our Mount Kisco, NY office up to two times a week, or as needed.


What you’ll do:

  • Effectively communicate financial performance utilizing the standard tools and templates for appropriate product line and market segmentation, P&Ls, units/orders/sales and margin reporting, manufacturing spending and metrics, operating expenses, and headcount.
  • Enhancement of KPI and management metrics, reports, and dashboards to succinctly enable leaders to understand their business, key drivers, and impacts to accelerate.
  • Enhance and develop models to evaluate business opportunities (new product development, market entry, M&A, R&D, sales, manufacturing, quality, supply chain/procurement) to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Guide and educate colleagues on effectively communicating financial performance.
  • Lead and develop team. Share development across businesses with analysts to improve analysis.
  • Evaluate and support implementing new systems and applications to strengthen and enhance reporting, analysis, and strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate the cadence of the monthly forecasting process and the strategic, financial, and capital plans. Collaborate with cross-functions to maximize results and achieve win-win.
  • Support the creation of executive communications and presentations.
  • Financial advisor to Curtis’ President, GM, and VP of Finance.

What you need:

  • 7 – 10 years of relevant experience in finance, management consulting, investment banking, or private equity (including FP&A and project management experience).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
  • Superior business partnering skills, including building senior-level relationships, trust, and getting things done. Being a trusted facilitator between product, business and finance.
  • Problem-solving, analytical skills, solid business judgment, and excellent communication skills.
  • Financial modeling skills, getting market research, understanding trends, developing insights, and combining these into sound high-impact strategic opportunities.
  • Ability to communicate to all organizational levels in a financial and managerial capacity.
  • A proactive self-starter with supervisory experience and a curious mindset.
  • Keen attention to detail with utmost ethical and business integrity.
  • Knowledge of OneStream is helpful.
  • Ability and willingness to travel 10% of the year.
