Digital Marketing Coordinator – Marketing

(Remote or Sausalito, CA)


Founded in 2003, Serena & Lily is a direct-to-consumer, luxury home furnishings company with headquarters in Sausalito, California, and Design Shops in nineteen cities (and counting!). We are seeking a curious self-starter interested in working on a broad set of in-house media programs and taking on significant direct ownership responsibility. Our ideal candidate is inspired by looking under the hood and tinkering with data to uncover insights and loves having the agency to quickly put those discoveries into action. The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting Serena & Lily’s digital marketing channels, including but not limited to paid search (SEM), paid social, display, video, and search optimization (SEO) campaigns. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Growth Marketing & Marketing Analytics to help grow these channels with a focus on acquisition and incrementality.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute paid ad setup, QC, and optimization across networks (Google, Bing, Meta, and Pinterest, etc.) with an eye towards acquisition and incrementality to boost share of search traffic and conversion
  • Responsible for daily budget pacing & monitoring budget distribution and performance of paid ad campaigns
  • Provide weekly channel performance reporting with actionable insights to inform optimizations using platform data, Sigma, Excel, Looker, SQL, and Google Analytics
  • On a regular and ad hoc basis, uncover insights and make recommendations to channel leaders to achieve business goals and make campaign improvements
  • Research paid advertising competitive landscape and industry landscape to help move our program forward (ex. AI, Feed Optimizations, etc)
  • Liaise with Content, Social, eCommerce, Merchandising, and Customer Experience teams to execute 360 marketing campaigns and amplify marketing coverage


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-2 years of performance marketing experience (paid search, SEO, social, video, and/or display a plus)
  • Owned at least one performance marketing channel pacing and was responsible for management of channel
  • Curiosity and a desire to learn
  • Self-starter, results-driven
  • An interest in data science and a passion for using data to make decisions
  • Highly organized
  • Proactive approach to problem solving
  • Adapts quickly to change
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Effective communicator with internal and external parties; must have the ability to work in/with cross-functional teams
  • Passion for the Serena & Lily brand, enjoyment of interior design, and an interest in the home furnishings industry is a plus


COMPENSATION:

  • $67-70k per year is the anticipated starting base pay for this role. This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this role. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: experience, education, and skills.
  • Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance should they choose to participate in Serena & Lily’s benefits. Employees can enroll in our company’s 401k plan. During the first year of employment, full-time employees accrue twenty-one days of PTO and seven paid holidays throughout the year.
