The position is based in Aurora (United States, IL).
You will excel and enjoy this position if you are ready to actively handle the following missions:
Attached to the Distribution Manager of the Sephora Collection brand, the Distribution Planner North America will work closely with the Supply team of Sephora Collection in France. They will oversee the distribution flow to our 3 clients (US/Canada/Kohl's) to ensure the sales revenue of the region (sell-in).
Managing the distribution flow of the S+ US warehouse
- Ensuring data consistency between EDI flows and the order book
- Daily monitoring of orders in the system to ensure proper transmission and minimize transmission errors (ship windows, allocation by department, specific creation for launches)
- Alerting and raising awareness with markets if corrections are necessary, and ensuring follow-up on their resolutions
- Tracking customer orders
- Building order allocation plans and validating them in the system
- Validating weekly orders from the 3 clients and generating on-time preparation orders for the 3PL provider
- Analyzing physical stock and in-transit stock to collaborate with the team in France to alert and prioritize in case of upcoming tensions or shortages
- Monitoring chargebacks/overdues in collaboration with the S+ logistics team of the US warehouse
Collaborating with the "NorthAm" customer
- Conducting weekly follow-up meetings with the North America team, by communicating on: fill rate, tension projections, etc.
- Working on the new product launches planning by tracking their availability at the US warehouse and ensuring proper execution of orders by the "NorthAm" customer
- Sharing updates related to warehouse activity: quantity discrepancies, delays, etc.
Performance
- Participating in continuous improvement projects and ERP migration starting in 2025
- Contributing to the implementation of KPIs and dashboards including: Completion rate, Stock projection for current and next month, Fill rate, Sell-in
We are excited if you have...
- ·Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of experience in Supply Chain (Supply Planning, Distribution Planning, or Customer Service)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Rigorous and organized
- Strong analytical abilities
- Adaptability to new tools and concepts
- Understanding of customer needs and sensitivity to the cosmetics sector
Technical Skills:
- o Languages: Mastery of French is a plus
- o Excellent use of MS Office suite (Excel, PPT, etc.) and databases like Power BI
- o Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP and SAP4)
- o An APICS license (CPIM, CSCP) is a plus
