Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Subject Matter Expert to join our academic team at a leading technical college. This individual will be responsible for creating engaging and comprehensive curriculum content for our Web Design and Development Program. This program aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary for successful careers in web development, covering a broad range of topics from HTML , CSS , JavaScript, PHP , MySQL, to WordPress, UI/UX design principles, and more. Primary work assignment is at the SLCC Taylorsville Campus.

Creates and contributes effective curriculum content for Website Design and Development Program.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Expertise in web development languages and tools, including HTML , CSS , JavaScript, PHP , and MySQL.
Proficiency in WordPress and a solid understanding of UI/UX design principles.
Experience with curriculum development and instructional design, preferably in a technical or vocational education setting.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, students, and industry partners.
Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage multiple aspects of a large project.
Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse people, ability, culture, ethnic background, to maintain good working relationships across the College. Ability to work with all groups in a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic background of community college students, faculty and staff, including those with disabilities.
