Responsibilities Overview

As a Registered RN at Cooper University Health Care, you will be part of a dynamic health care team, providing care to a group of patients for a designated time frame. Your role includes supervision, care provision, and utilizing therapeutic techniques to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to established policies and procedures
• Maintain open communication with internal stakeholders
• Deliver exceptional customer service to all stakeholders
• Implement Cooper core values in daily practices
• Evaluate patients, provide care, and document accurately
• Assist physicians during procedures
• Administer medications and conduct patient tests
• Educate patients and families on self-care skills
• Promote patient independence through goal setting
  
  

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum one year ICU/ER experience preferred
• Education: Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• License/Certifications: Current NJ-RN License, BLS Certification, specialty certifications may be required
• Scheduled Days/Hours: Nights; 7p-7a with rotation, including every 5th weekend
