Cost Controller Responsibilities
- Leads all project cost control activities supporting various site capital projects for the BioPharma campus.
- Expected to work with A/E, CM, CQV firms, and other vendors/contractors as needed
- Support the procurement process, working pre-contract with client Procurement as required and ensuring budget checks are carried out prior to committing purchase orders and contracts.
- Support bid analysis in conjunction with GERE estimating resources along with any value engineering exercises
- Responsible for the cost reporting and forecasting processes on site projects, including change management and internal resource forecasting and control.
- Support change order evaluations in conjunction with GERE estimating resources
- Responsible for monitoring project progress, productivity, and earned value
- Responsible for reviewing applications for payment / invoices in accordance with client requirements
- Experience with project controls in a construction environment with pharmaceutical project experience
- Experience of valuations, administration of sub-contractor accounts and variations.
- Understanding of construction techniques and specifications
- Experience of working within a team environment
- Successful candidates will have at least 10 years' experience in all facets of cost controls.
- Experience of handling large value contracts or subcontracts expected
