Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A CANYON RANCH COLLEAGUE

This position is primarily responsible for the financial processing of transactions at a Corporate level for multiple companies. This position will focus on Accounts Payable approvals, journal entries and reconciliations, working within various systems: NetSuite, Expensify, Givex and Shopify. Position will require a strong excel skillset and good communication skills working closely with other members of the Corporate accounting departments and the various corporate department leads.

Responsibilities include:

  • Journal Entries: Code and approve intercompany journal entries, journal entries integrated via Expensify, and monthly accruals
  • Accounts Payables: Review and approve vendor bills, entering vendor bills into NetSuite as necessary
  • Reconciliations and reporting: Prepare monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts (including cash, inventory, received but not billed and gift card liability). Update corporate department reporting with actuals each month.

Additional functions include:

  • Match all authorized signatures and totals.
  • Enter all invoices, credit memos and deposit/prepayment requests in NetSuite.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Must have prior knowledge of position/industry with 3-5 years previous experience in same or related field.
  • Minimum Education Level: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or related field
  • Skilled in Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Possesses advanced Excel skills.
  • Proficient level of accounting knowledge, documentation & research skills.
  • Excellent organizational, judgement, listening and time management skills

Location: This position is a hybrid role, based in downtown Fort Worth and will be onsite several days a week.
