Amazon is seeking a Construction Coordinator who would love to help us with project administration. This position will be part of an exciting, fast-moving business unit, where everyone on the team needs to be entrepreneurial, wear many hats and work effectively in a highly collaborative environment. Basic Qualifications
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $61,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Duties
- Responsible for tracking project status and relaying the information to internal and external teams and business partners.
- Creates and maintains project files.
- Responsible for collecting vendor quotes, assessing against construction drawings and processing purchase orders including full tracking up to delivery on site.
- Responsible for tracking orders on a per project basis.
- Communicates and distributes project related information to vendors and internal partners.
- Resolves problems with back orders, items not received, defective and damaged goods. Initiates and reports on damage and/or defective claims with warehouses and outside suppliers and vendors.
- Partners with the Construction Manager to coordinate and resolve shipping issues within internal and external teams and business partners.
- Responsible for tracking insurance certificates throughout a project.
- Partners with Construction Manager to ensure correct quantities are ordered based on construction document schedules, manages logistics for warehousing/delivery, and contracts align with budgets.
- Identify and manage opportunities to increase efficiency of vendor contract and purchase order implementation, project administration, and project closeout.
- Participates in the continuous improvement of procurement processes and implementation of best practices to maximize efficiency for the Design, Implementation and Development (DID) team.

Basic Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED or 4 + years of US military experience.
- 5+ years of experience in the construction, procurement or facilities industry, including project administration, tracking, reporting, and progressive experience in managing orders through complete order life cycle.
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications – Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.
- Bachelor's degree in facility or construction management, architecture, or business related field.
- 5+ years of experience in the construction, procurement or facilities industry, including project administration, tracking, reporting, and progressive experience in managing orders through complete order life cycle.
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications – Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.
- Proficient in Smartsheet
- Proficient in Procore Construction Management software
