Position Purpose

The Compensation Specialist is responsible for resolving variable compensation processing inquires, processing and auditing variable compensation plans, and completing data audits, analysis, and reporting. As part of the Total Rewards team, this role also manages the commissions inbox, processes commissions, and monitors and processes minimum wage.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the commission inbox and respond to variable compensation processing inquiries. Respond to team member compensation questions and partner with HRBPs and payroll, as applicable, to resolve issues.
  • Process, monitor and audit commission input data. Process each fiscal period based upon current compensation plans, as well as manual variable pay calculations, accurately and timely.
  • Own enterprise minimum wage compliance including monitoring, updating, and processing pay changes to ensure timely compliance with Federal, state, and local minimum wage laws.
  • Collaborate with HRBPs, TA, HR Operations, and Finance to effectively communicate and process changes.
  • Complete routine data audits (e.g., realignment, LOAs for bonus eligibility, goal reductions, PTO) and update OIC, as applicable.
  • Perform ad hoc and routine analyses of commission data and information for distribution throughout the company (includes monthly dashboards, New Hire PTG Analysis).
  • Assist with OIC configurations required for compensation plan updates. Maintain commissions reporting, including regular and ad-hoc function and business reports.
  • Regularly monitor new hires, terms, and other TM changes and input into CRM to keep OIC data current.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience, plus 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency with MS Excel including experience using pivot tables
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Proficiency in data management and reporting tools preferred
