Community Engagement Coordinator (OKC, OK)

Position Summary

Responsible for marketing Dental Depot to the community though events, sponsorships, and programs such as Smiley O’Riley, the Community Engagement Coordinator will collaborate with the internal marketing team, Other Dental Depot Departments and external agencies and vendors to implement marketing goals and plans. They also participate in creating brand awareness through advertising and social media, arrange proposals and presentations using marketing materials such as brochures, data, slides, photographs, and reports.

Essential Functions

Outreach and Community Engagement

  • Responsible for marketing Dental Depot to the community through outreach and branding events, including researching/identifying, coordinating all sponsorship and donation opportunities
  • Executing the Smiley O’Riley program throughout the year by researching and traveling to targeted areas promoting to schools, etc.
  • Handling of donations and allocating to appropriate organizations
  • Serve as a contact for community agencies, businesses, fundraisers, sponsorships and all community events
  • Create opportunities for staff members to volunteer within the community
  • Develop and implement grant and/or sponsorship opportunity for students or educators within the community

Promotional

  • Collaborate with other departments and internal teams (e.g. HR, Recruitment and Professional Relations) to assist with promotional items and events
  • Handle the ordering and distribution of promotional items including New Patient T-Shirts for offices across OK, AZ, TX and MO
  • Managing and organizing promotional events for Dental Depot including overseeing staff working during event

Event Planning

  • Plan, budget and execute internal large-scale events including, Parade participation, Partner Weekend, Doctor Holiday Party and Employee Appreciation in October.
  • Coordinate and support new office grand openings/ribbon cuttings with local Chambers of Commerce

Reputation Management

  • Through the Podium platform:
  • Use online dashboards to
  • Proactively monitor and manage the company's online reputation
  • Aggregate monthly NPS and Google reviews by location
  • Communicate regularly with clinic office managers, regional managers, doctors, and other key decision makers on NPS and online approval ratings

Marketing Related Patient Communication

  • Use RevenueWell to execute marketing campaigns and patient email communication in support of related marketing initiatives, inclement weather, etc.

Position Qualifications

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required

Experience:1 plus years of experience in Marketing Related Field

Computer Skills: Knowledge of basic computer skills and utilization of Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to learn new software applications.

Other Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license, proof of valid vehicle insurance and must have annual Motor Vehicle Record Check, as a condition of employment if employee operates any Company owned vehicles or drives their own personal vehicle for Company business purposes. Ability to work with pediatricians and/or service providers with early childhood programs. Ability to promote relevant marketing materials. Willingness to learn skills necessary to perform Smiley show, i.e. juggling and balloon art. Willingness to dress in character, including Smiley costume and make-up. Ability to recruit new partners, maintain reciprocal relationships and organize and lead formal and informal networking opportunities. Proven human relations skills and the ability to work with diverse populations.
