Flexible working hours:

• Monday through Friday 3 - 6:30 pm, and/or on Saturdays 1 - 5:30 pm.
• Applicants can choose their working days.
• Applicants also have the opportunity to teach private lessons.

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role located in Basking Ridge, New Jersey for a Chinese Teacher at Koo Chinese Academy. The Chinese Teacher will create and deliver lesson plans that support students as they learn to read, write, speak, and understand the Chinese language. The Chinese Teacher will also be responsible for grading assignments, tracking student progress, and communicating with students and their families.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Mandarin
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience teaching Chinese language in a classroom setting
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience working with students of all ages and backgrounds
