Buyer

Our client at LHH is searching for a Buyer to join their team in the Columbus, OH area. Candidates that would make a great fit have relevant experience outside of buying/purchasing, such as familiarity with inventory management, negotiation, and cost experience. This is a full-time position that would be directly reporting to the Supply Chain Manager and is a full in-office role. The ability to build and maintain strong relationships is incredibly important for this individual, along with strategic thinking skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Negotiating cost with suppliers
• Submitting/monitoring purchase orders
• Partner with production and supply chain teams to achieve business goals
• Remain connected to market trends

Qualifications:

• At least 4 years’ experience in a purchasing role
• SAP experience strongly preferred
• Strategic thinking, ability/desire to wear multiple hats throughout the process
• Ability to create and sustain strong relationships
• Bachelor’s Degree
