Business Consulting Director

Trackunit is a fast-growing company and a leading supplier of IoT solutions, operating out of many offices worldwide. Trackunit specializes in digital solutions that connect machines, people, and systems in the global construction industry. The construction industry is the least digitalized industry of all. This lack of digitalization has left construction far behind a global economy on the rise and placed the industry as one of the least productive industries too.

We are looking for a Business Consulting Director to join our Predict Consulting team who will partly work as a strategist and partially work with a portfolio of projects helping our customers to drive value from Trackunit’s platform. Predict Consulting is a customer-facing entrepreneurial team that helps our existing and new customers solve some of their most difficult challenges through strategic advisory, visioning, ideation, storytelling, business model design, rapid prototyping, and in-market testing and experimentation. This role will also work to identify and establish new partnerships that can deliver value for our customers and long-term growth for Trackunit.

Who are you ideally?

• 10 + years of experience in a similar role
• Strong record of academic achievement and clear demonstration of leadership in a work setting
• Problem-solving aptitude and critical reasoning skills
• Comfortable with significant client interaction and interest in building relationships
• Thrives in an agile, fast-paced environment with an active feedback culture
• Exemplary verbal, written and presentation skills

Primary responsibilities:

• Work with C-suite executives, solve the industry’s toughest challenges and provide actionable recommendations leveraging the Trackunit platform
• Collaborate with customers to pursue innovative business opportunities, design viable business models and build hands-on roadmaps and implementation strategies around those
• Fully understand and clearly articulate the benefits of Trackunit to customers. Communicate these in presentations, proposals
• Co-create with both internal and external stakeholders, lead cross-functional teams, identify and establish new partnerships that can deliver value for new and existing customers and long-term growth for Trackunit
• Lead small teams of colleagues and customers to build the strategies, capabilities, products, systems, and processes needed to deliver bottom-line results and ensure those results will be sustained
  
  

Our hiring process

• Initial phone conversation with a colleague from our People & Talent team to get to know each other a bit better.
• Virtual meet and greet. Meet with our Vice President of Customer Success - Global and other key stakeholders
• Personality-based interview. You will be asked to fill out an online personality assessment using use Hogan prior to the interview. There are no correct answers - the aim is a dialogue about the results and Trackunit’s culture, so you’ll get to know us better as well.
• Assignment-specific interview. We want you to get an insight into some of the concrete work tasks or challenges related to the role. You will be given a case to prepare prior to the interview, and at the interview, you will present the case to relevant colleagues from across Trackunit, who you’ll also work closely with in the job.
• If needed, throughout the process we will obtain references from former employers and do background checks for level specific, if you have not provided these yourself.
