  • The properties team is responsible for managing the day-to-day airport affairs and the administration of our real estate assets at any location, whether owned or leased by American Airlines. This includes properties at our airports, such as terminal and gate facilities, hangars, cargo buildings, and GSE shops, as well off-airport properties such as office buildings, sales offices, and training facilities
  • The role is a part of the Corporate Real Estate team within our Corporate Affairs division

What You'll Do

  • Works closely with the Properties Representatives to ensure compliance with internal procedures and our lease or sublease obligations
  • Sets up new lease or sublease accounts, uploads new and updated leases or subleases and other relevant documents, updates rental rates, and prepares payable or receivable lease digests, and ensures a high volume of monthly rent payments are completed on a timely basis

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
  • 2 years of experience with corporate properties lease documents, accounting, or accounts payable (processing, auditing)

Preferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Understanding of lease management administration and documentation of lease digests

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of lease management software
  • Organizational and customer service skills and the ability to prioritize/multi-task
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, shift priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, while exercising sound judgment to make decisions
  • Ability to build strong working relationship with internal and external groups
  • Ability to coordinate and manage large cross functional projects with all levels of management
  • Must be able to work independently while driving results with little oversight
