Join a leading organization as a Windows Systems Engineer and play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and supporting robust Windows-based systems and infrastructure. In this hands-on role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, system administrators, and information security experts, to deliver scalable and secure solutions.

Location: Kennesaw, Georgia
Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote (40 hours per week)
Pay Rate Range: Starting at $50/hr W2, higher DOE plus benefits
Key Responsibilities
Design and deploy Windows server infrastructure, including planning, installation, and configuration of Windows-based systems.
Develop and implement security measures to protect Windows servers and network resources, such as patch management, vulnerability assessments, and antivirus solutions.
Collaborate with network engineers to ensure seamless integration between Windows servers and the network infrastructure.
Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain an up-to-date knowledge base.
Required Skills and Experience
Extensive experience with Microsoft Windows Servers, including Active Directory (setup and management).
Proficiency in Microsoft Hyper-V Standalone and Clustering (Microsoft Virtual Machine Manager would be a plus).
Expertise in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM, formerly known as SCCM).
Strong skills in Windows Server operations, including installation, domain controller setup, DHCP, DNS, file server setup, DFS replication, DFS namespaces, and Hyper-V setup and clustering.
Experience with PowerShell scripting.
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL installation, Microsoft Office 365 management, and Microsoft SharePoint Online.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Veeam Backup and Replication, SOTI MobiControl, Illumio, CyberArk, ServiceNow, OpenDNS, Zscaler, Tripp-Lite PADM, HPE hardware and iLO, and EMC/Dell storage systems.
Ability to automate repetitive tasks or reporting using PowerShell and Windows Task Scheduler.
Basic understanding of IPv4 (subnets and routing) and IPv6 (preferred but not required).
Basic understanding of Linux (various builds).
