Warehouse Packaging Specialist

Job Description

GMI has a Full-Time opportunity for a Warehouse Packaging Specialist located at our headquarters in Ramsey MN. This role will facilitate various warehouse operations and packing responsibilities but not limited to the items listed in the job description below.

Warehouse Packaging Specialist Role Keys to Success: We’re looking for a self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform Final Prep of instruments prior to shipment
• Crating and packing of instruments in a professional manner to minimize shipping damage risk
• Monitor packing material volumes and coordinate reordering with the logistics manager.
• Accurately process high volume of orders for shipment
• Assist with warehouse organization
• Assist with freight carrier loading and unloading
• Correctly organize and label outgoing shipments
• Perform light cleaning of warehouse and production areas

Experience:

• Previous warehouse/packaging experience
• Experience working in a high volume, fast paced environment
• High School Diploma. Two-Year Associate College degree highly preferred
• Warehouse Operations (Receiving, Packing, Stocking)
• Trained forklift operator preferred but not required
• Physically able to stand while working. Able to lift 75+ pounds.
