Vice Provost/Chief Information Officer
Job Responsibilities:
The Vice Provost/Chief Information Officer will provide strategic leadership and oversight in all areas of digital transformation. The VP/CIO will manage budgets with innovation for technology efficiency. The VP/CIO will engage in grant writing and grant management, provide an optimal student experience, and support innovation throughout the campus. The VP/CIO will provide management oversight to the Essye B. Miller Center for Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity. Other focus areas include: experiential learning, supporting undergraduate and graduate programs and concentrations/certifications, continuous improvement and unit supervision.
Specific Duties:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information, or related fields required; terminal degree preferred. Experience in higher education and/or industry experience as a CIO or Information Technology Director, along with experience in curriculum development, digital solutions, grant writing.

- Collaborate with other senior administrators to develop and execute technology strategies
- Guides the College through digital transformation in effective and efficient patterns
- Manage operations of Information Technology campus-wide
- Manage budgets within the unit, including grant management
- Provide a state of the art student experience, with optimization of technology
- Manage the Center of Excellence in Cybersecurity
- Support undergraduate and graduate academic majors and certifications
