We are looking for a talented, passionate and experienced VP of Operations. Reporting to the CEO, the VP of Operations will be in charge of developing and implementing a variety of strategies to maximize profit margins and lay the ground work for efficient growth and scalability of the organization.

This role is remote but will require periodic attendance to our facilities around the country.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of the organization’s operations core departments, procurement and logistics.
• Collaborates with other business divisions and departments to carry out the organization’s goals and objectives.
• Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials.
• Responsible for documenting all new and current operational activities.
• Execute, develop and implement strategies to maximize profits while improving the supply chain to positively impact variables such as cost, quality and delivery time.
• Ensures that departmental decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, hardware acquisitions, and facilities are in line with the organization’s goals and objectives.
• Establishes, communicates, and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.
• Develop others by delegating responsibility, providing high-impact performance feedback, and assisting in conflict resolution.
• Reviews and approves cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for projects.
• Establishes and administers the departments’ budget.
• Presents periodic performance reports and metrics to the CEO and other leadership.
• Support in strategic planning in order to upturn proficiency, productivity, and efficiency of the projects and operations of GiftCash.
• Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of industry-related experience including three years in upper management required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business. MBA preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma certification an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills is a must.
• Proven Planning and Execution ability to manage multiple projects and achieve results
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; with a focus on strategic planning.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Deep understanding of relevant government rules and regulations.
