Overview of the Role:


Leading USA Sales for Digital Water Business:

  • Global sales efforts, ensuring coordination and consistency across regions
  • Clear direction, vision, and goals for the sales team to ensure alignment with the company's overall objectives
  • Strategic guidance and support to regional sales managers to drive growth and maximize market penetration

Building High-Performing Sales Team:

  • Recruit top talent with the skills and experience necessary to excel in sales roles within the Digital Water business
  • Provide comprehensive training and development programs to enhance the capabilities of the sales team
  • Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales organization to drive performance and achieve targets

Market Analysis and Strategy Development:

  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitor activities in the Digital Water sector
  • Utilize market insights to formulate data-driven strategies aimed at capturing market share and driving revenue growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine sales strategies that differentiate the company's offerings and create a competitive edge in the market

Defining Clear Market Strategy and Channels:

  • Develop a comprehensive market strategy that outlines the approach and direction for marketing and sales activities within the Digital Water business
  • Identify and prioritize the most effective channels and tactics for reaching target customers and driving sales growth
  • Continuously evaluate and adjust the market strategy and channel mix based on changing market dynamics and customer preferences to optimize sales performance


Job Description:


Sales Growth Delivery:

  • Increase sales revenue and profitability while monitoring performance and financial results. Make data-driven decisions to maximize profitability and growth
  • Expand market share through effective positioning of current offerings and driving sales growth
  • Identify and execute key strategies, assessing their financial costs and benefits
  • Represent the company with major customers, the business community, and the public
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance business operations and implement impactful strategies (e.g., product rationalization, route optimization)
  • Understand regional market positions, customer opportunities, capabilities, and competitive landscape

Leading Strategic Changes:

  • Champion and implement key changes aligned with company strategies across the region
  • Hold leaders and associates accountable for supporting necessary changes
  • Lead digital transformation within the sales organization, becoming a trusted advisor in digital solutions
  • Embrace digital selling techniques and alternative routes to market
  • Cultivate a safety-focused culture, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations

Team Building and Development:

  • Establish a high-performing regional sales leadership team comprising top talent
  • Coach and develop sales talent to nurture talent pools and enhance bench strength
  • Drive leaders to actively coach and develop their team members
  • Foster accountability for results throughout the region


Requirements:

  • 10+ years of practical experience in Pulp & Paper OR Water Treatment, Key Account Management, Sales Leadership and Business Development
  • A bachelor’s degree in Chemical engineering and/or business is required. MBA is preferred
  • Proven track record of successfully managing territories generating over $10M in revenue
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated proactive mindset with an unwavering drive to capitalize on opportunities
